A tenure-track assistant professor of art in communication design at Louisiana Tech University and a partner at Studio Wan-ker, LLC, a design services and consultation company will train artists and educators graphic and book art techinques to pass along to their students. One 8th Grade class from each of the 21 parishes will read the abridged version of The Grapes of Wrath and will then create a Graphic Novel based on Steinbeck’s quintessential story of the Great Depression.
