
Southern-born and raised, Brad Arender has set himself apart as a photographic artist by merging new techniques with the organic beauty of candid moments in the world around us. Brad began his art photography career under the guidance and influence of painter Edmund Williamson and is a pioneer gallery owner in his native Monroe, Louisiana.
Described as “undoubtedly colorful, emotional and real,” the telling of stories is at the heart of all his work. His unique ability to “capture the moment” through an artist’s eye is evident in every image of his most recent critically acclaimed series, Your Life – Katrina & Rita Aftermath Photos which documents the post-storm architecture of New Orleans.
